The company core businesses are infrastructure construction and investment. For construction qualifications, Huabang has got superior grade of general contract for national road construction, A grade for national road design, A grade of civil engineering general contract, and First grade for road surface, road base, bridge, tunnel construction. Relevant authority of Chinese government has issue a Permit to Huabang to invest abroad. There are a scores of branches, affiliates, project teams across China, and 4000 employees. For construction equipment, machinery and plant, Huabang possesses 1500 sets big equipment and machinery of national and international brands, 166000kilo Watt plant.

HB always wants to be a contractor and investor for national infrastructure construction and operation service provider. Attach more importance to first grade quality project, first grade achievement and first grade company image.  Since its establishment, more than 100 projects of national key construction engineering, encompassing road, civil, housing, hydraulic have been accomplished by HB. Among those projects, there are 700 kilometre more high degree roads, 100 kilometre bridges and tunnels. The location of the projects scattered in Xinjiang, Shaanxi, Guangxi, Guangdong, Sichuan and Chongqing, Tibet. Scores of the projects were prized nationally and/or provincially. Guangyuan to Nanchong expressway in Sichuan province is of national Excellent Quality Prize and Tianfu Prize from the province. South second ring road in Zhangye and GZ45 suburb road is of national Paradigm Engineering and Feitian Prize of Gansu province. The Key Technology Innovation and Application of Prestressed Concrete Structure, researched and studied with Southeast University and , Mr Lv Zhitao, an academician, was awarded first grade prize in National Science and Technology Prize Awarding Ceremony in 2014 and 2015 respectively.  For workmanship in construction, HB has got 3 national certificates, 12 ministerial or provincial certificates, 8 prizes of provincial technology advancement. HB registered 22 national pragmatic patents, 7 invention patents and 2 software copyright.  Since 2009, HB has been listed in top 500 Chinese constructors. It is one of the members of first echelon in China construction industry. 

While consolidating leading position in the construction industry, making advantage of its intangible assets, HB realized strategy transforming; from a constructor, changed into a general contractor and a participator of PPP; successfully, invested and constructed Guiping to Laibing expressway project in Guangxi province and many other projects. HB has accumulated a lot more experience in financing large scale project. HB optimised its resources and structures and realized sustainable development.
